This picture was done as background for the www.tundermesek.hu homepage.

The first concept was done with pencil then the scanned images were rendered digital. The original designed characters were changed according to the commissionres wish.

This picture was made for a hungarian blues band as CD cover.

This picture was made for the hungraian rock band ElfSong. The graphic will be printed in 7×2m size for stage background.

Time to leave

I draw first a pencil sketch, then I used a Wacom Cintiq 24HD with Wacom Airbrush Pen to render the full image. The original size is 14 000 × 4 000 pixels.

The Z-094 Messerschmitt Me-210 Ca1 of the hungarian air force's 102/2 "Tigris Gyorsbombázó Század" (Tiger Fast Bomber Squadron) in 1944. The pilot was József Orbán, the rear gunner / radio operator was Tibor Vörös (my grandfather).

Sting in the tail

On the 13. november 1944 my grandfather and his pilot (hungarian airforce 102/2 "Tiger" fastbomber squadron Me-210) were attacked by nine russian Yak-9 fighters. Two Yaks were shot down in the dogfight over Nagyszenas, the other seven fled...

Train attack

On 26. Juni 1941. a hungarian passenger train under way from Tiszaborkút to Bilin was attacked by three soviet I-16 fighters.
This illustration was made for a study about the affair. I started with a pencil sketch then I finished it digital. The train and the locomotive was a newness for me but biggest challenge was the deadline, I had just a few hours more than one day from comission to the final version. Fortunately I got a lot of reference materials about the location and the train cars.
